A space for small projects, reflections, and ideas — explore if it speaks to you.
Hello, fellow archivists — I’m the voice behind The Stratagem’s Archive: a slow-growing, scarred, stubborn little blog for the tired, the angry, the sore, the quietly curious, the numb, and the ones trying to stay real in a world full of performance.
I don’t have a degree.
I don’t have credentials, mentors, or fancy job titles.
But I do have:
- 137 posts published since June 2025
- A growing base of return readers and subscribers
- Wrote 60 days consistently to see if I could
- A total of 6 PDFs created and downloaded 105+ times
- My 7th PDF is on Ko-fi with stickers and D&D writing prompts
- 5 published newsletters
- Conversations with other authors and readers
- All while working 2 jobs, with a mountain of personal debt, and a deep desire to do more than just survive
My work isn’t a formal résumé; it’s a record. If you’re looking for someone with real-world persistence, clear writing using tools as soundboards, and honest reflections — this is what I’ve built.
What I’ve Written About
- Learning to code (and not picking it up again)
- How I live with personal limitations
- Philosophy in the margins Games like Elden Ring, D&D, Fallout, and what they teach me about life
- Paying down $15K+ in debt while working two jobs
- Training through pain, exhaustion, and noise
- Rage rooms, real emotions, and radical self-honesty
- Identity, agency, curiosity, exhaustion, purpose

What I’m Open To
Freelance Writing / Reflections
I’m open to small, slow, weird projects — nothing too big just yet. If my writing or approach resonates, consider reaching out. I can’t promise a response to every pitch, but I always read them.
Freelance writing and reflective projects for tired creatives, curious beginners, and burnout survivors are my sweet spot.
Explore My Other Archives
If my work has made you feel less alone or more seen, consider sharing or exploring my other archives on Ko-fi.
Everything I create there is optional — for reading, experimenting, or quietly nodding along.
Contact Me
I reply when I can — usually before my shifts or late-into-the-night writing sessions. You can reach me at whatimtryingoutnow@gmail.com.
A Quiet Offer for Those Who Write
Sometimes, what people really need isn’t someone to fix their words—it’s someone to help them trust their own.
I’m offering low-pressure mini sessions to:
- Help organize your thoughts without taking over
- Suggest ways to clarify ideas while keeping your voice
- Reflect on your work so you can see what already works
How This Works:
This isn’t about deadlines or perfection—it’s about giving yourself permission to move forward, one small step at a time.
Pay-what-you-want or leave a Tiny Wave on Ko-fi. Sessions are short, friendly, and optional.
I’d be available to do written feedback right now.
No rush, no obligation—just a quiet space for your ideas to grow, one small step at a time.
My Philosophy
“I don’t think the world needs louder voices — it needs open and honest ones.”
I’m not here to be impressive. I’m here to be honest, share what’s on my mind, and keep moving forward.
If my work speaks to where you are — reach out.
Or just read, share with someone you know who would like this too, or take what you need.
A quiet nod is welcomed here.
Until next time, I’ll see you all in the archives.
